Okay, here's what you're supposed to do. Copy (not forward) this entire
e-mail and paste it onto a new mail that you will send. Change all the
answers so they apply to you. Then, send this to a whole bunch of people
you know INCLUDING the person who sent it to you. The theory is that you
will get a pile of get-to-know e-mails!
You'll learn a lot of little known (and sometimes scary) facts about
your friends! Remember to send yours back to the person who sent it to
you! READY?
NAME: John Daniel Dunne
SEX: Male. Why does everyone smirk when they see this
question? Hah, they're old, that's why. They mustn't be
getting enough ;-).
HOME: A condo apartment with Buck Wilmington, and a *neat* and
*clean* one at that. C'mon, do you honestly believe with the
number of ex-girlfriends, current girlfriends and wanna-be girlfriends
Buck has poppin' in on us unexpectedly all the time, that Buck would
have the place looking anything less than respectable? I don't
think so! Goes to show ya. . . we have one poker game the same
night we discover the place has been ransacked and forever more it's
labeled the CDC. Way to go, Ezra! I mean, c'mon, have you
seen *Vin's* place? He's got dust-bunnies growin' in corners that
are bigger than me for cripse sakes!
HEIGHT: 5'8" Honest! I know I look smaller, but I can't help
the fact that I happened to join a team made up of rejects from the NBA!
EYES: Hazel. Sometimes they look brown though.
HAIR: Almost black.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TV SHOW? Old westerns, Starsky &
Hutch re-runs, X-files. Law & Order's pretty cool.
WHAT'S ON YOUR MOUSE PAD? Depends, I'm always trying out new
ones. Right now I've got 3M's paper thin "precise" one
with the gray cloud design. It's doin' its job.
FAVORITE MAGAZINE: I subscribe to a couple of high tech
computer ones that nobody else touches with a ten foot pole <g>.
Chris lets me expense them, which is kinda cool. I'll read Guns and
Ammo, SI, the odd movie magazine.
FAVORITE SMELL: My mom's perfume. Nettie's apple pie.
Mom's too.
WORST FEELING IN THE WORLD: Losing my mom. Thinking I was
gonna lose Buck.
BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD: When Chris finally said YES <vbg>.
Waking up in the hospital and knowin' Buck's right there.
THINGS TO DO ON THE WEEKENDS: Riding my horse, racing my bike.
Camping or just hanging out at home or at the ranch.
FAVORITE SOUNDTRACK: Don't have one. Why restrict myself
when I can make my own CDs? My favorites are the "Best ofs"
I made from Buck's CD and album collection -- yup, he still has lots of
them, album notes are way cool -- that I made for him last Christmas, or
my "best of" from my own CD collection. Oh, this is
kinda soundtrack related. . . I installed the theme from the Magnificent
7 on all our computers at work, so when we log in and out, that's what
we hear. 'Cept, Ezra. He deleted the file. I think the
others kinda like it ;-)
WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU THOUGHT OF WHEN YOU WOKE UP THIS MORNING?
I shouldn't've stayed up so late workin' on the computer. . . again.
DO YOU GET MOTION SICKNESS? Never
ROLLER COASTERS DEADLY OR EXCITING?: Exciting, duh!
PEN OR PENCIL? : Keyboard, preferably. Pen, if I have
to.
HOW MANY RINGS BEFORE YOU ANSWER THE PHONE? : Cell:
first ring. Office too. At home, well I tend to zone out
while I'm on the computer, so Buck usually gets it.
FAVORITE FOODS: Nettie's and my mom's apple pies, like I said
above.
Buck's barbecued ribs. Or his Alfredo. Yeah, really! I
can see it's time to dispel another rumor started by jealous people ;-).
Buck *can* cook. In fact we both can, only he's better at it since
he's always cookin' up somethin' special for his dates. Not like
we had much of a choice when it came to learning how. After all,
we both had working moms, so we had to fend for ourselves a lot.
Plus we both adored our moms and knew that they worked too damn hard, so
we cooked for them too. Buck says when his mom used to work the
afternoon business lunch crowd, he'd have dinner waiting for her when
she got home. Me, well, when mom got sick. . . We do eat a lot of
take-out though, too. Comes with the job.
DO YOU GET ALONG WITH YOUR PARENTS? Wouldn't know about my dad.
Mom, yeah. When you're growing up watching your mom hurtin' like that. .
. well, there weren't too many arguments.
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN CONVICTED OF A CRIME? Convicted, right?
Nope. 'Course I probably commit a crime every other case, with my
boss' blessing, of course. All Chris has to do is ask and away my
fingers go <eg>.
CHOCOLATE OR VANILLA? Chocolate
CROUTONS OR BACON BITS? Bacon bits!
DO YOU LIKE TO DRIVE? Absolutely, but I don't mind lettin'
Buck do the driving when we drive in together. The Chevy's his
after all.
DO YOU SLEEP WITH STUFFED ANIMALS? Not any more.
IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY KIND OF PET, WHAT WOULD IT BE? Well, the
ideal pet would have to be warm and loveable and wanna play and horse
around. Always happy to see me, like I was the best thing in the
world. It'd be big too, so it could protect my home and even me,
if I was in trouble and needed protecting. It'd be smart and loyal
and I'd know I could always count on it to lean on or help me find my
way home if I'm lost. It'd be there for me whenever I thought no
one else cared, when things were really rough. It would give me --
what do they call it? Unconditional love? Yeah.
Oh. . .
Well, I could do without the separation anxiety ;-) Always
thought Buck was a good name for a dog <eg>.
IF YOU COULD BE ANY TYPE OF ANIMAL WHAT WOULD YOU BE? Horse?
Maybe a dog that got to do a lot with its family.
IF YOU COULD MEET ANYONE DEAD OR ALIVE, WHO WOULD IT BE? My dad,
sometimes. Buck's ma. Sarah and Adam. Lots of historical
people: Bat Masterson, Doc Holliday, JFK.
FAVORITE ALCOHOLIC DRINK: Ice cold beer.
WHAT IS YOUR ZODIAC SIGN? Does it matter?
EAT THE STEMS OF BROCCOLI? Never thought about it. I'm too
busy shoveling to notice <bg>.
GUYS-IF A GIRL ASKED FOR THE SHIRT OFF YOUR BACK, WOULD YOU GIVE IT TO
HER? You bet.
GIRLS-WOULD YOU EVER ASK A GUY FOR HIS SHIRT?
IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY JOB YOU WANTED, WHAT WOULD IT BE? Old west
Ranger or Sheriff. Race car driver.
IF YOU COULD DYE YOUR HAIR ANY COLOR, WHAT WOULD IT BE? You're
kidding, right?
IF YOU COULD HAVE A TATTOO, WHAT AND WHERE WOULD IT BE? Too late,
already done ;-).
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN LOVE? She's not my girl. Casey
and I are JUST GOOD FRIENDS!
DESCRIBE YOUR DREAM WEDDING. I repeat. Casey and I are JUST
GOOD FRIENDS! Shut-up, Nathan!
WHAT IS ON YOUR WALLS IN YOUR ROOM? Some authentic Wanted posters,
pictures of me and the guys, me and Buck, me and my mom, awards from
school, shelves and shelves of disks and CDs.
IS THE GLASS HALF EMPTY OR HALF FULL? Half full.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SNAPPLE? Whatever's handy.
ARE YOU A RIGHTY, LEFTY OR AMBIDEXTROUS? Righty, mostly, but
pretty ambidextrous too.
DO YOU TYPE WITH YOUR FINGERS ON THE RIGHT KEYS? Yes, duh!
IF YOU COULD BE ONE GARDENING TOOL, WHAT WOULD YOU BE? A shovel --
so I could keep up with the load 'a crap Buck dishes out on an hourly
basis <eg>. Is a backhoe considered a gardening tool?
WHAT'S UNDER YOUR BED? Carpet
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE NUMBER? Seven!
WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CAR? When mom got too sick to drive
hers, I started drivin' her places. It was a charcoal gray
Cavalier. It got me out here and then it died, too.
WHAT IS YOUR DREAM CAR? Old fast-back Mustang, late 60's
Vette. Don't get any ideas, Buck, the bike was *more* than enough,
all right!
FAVORITE SPORT TO WATCH? Hockey, football, CART racing,
PBR's a blast!
SAY ONE NICE THING ABOUT THE PERSON WHO SENT THIS TO YOU: I knew
there had to be a reason you sent this back to me, you *ssh*le!!
Let's see. . . Buck is the best roommate I have. Mind you, he's
the *only. . .
Oh, hell.
Buck is the most selfless person I know and as much as I find that
exasperating or even scary at times, I'm really glad he's who he is.
Because he opened up his home to me when I really needed one, even
though I didn't know it at the time. Thanks for always being
there, Buck.
OF ALL THE PEOPLE YOU SEND THIS TO, WHO IS LEAST LIKELY TO RESPOND TO
IT? I'm really surprised Vin and Chris answered. They're not the
type ;-)

Happy? Good, you're makin' dinner!
